In 2003, the Southeast Asia Urban Environmental Management Applications (SEA-UEMA) Project
was launched to tackle emerging problems in the cities of the region.
SEA-UEMA Project is a partnership program
between the Canadian
International Development Agency (CIDA) and
the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). It was originally implemented
from 2003 - 2008. The Project has been extended from 2008 - 2010 and has entered a period of consolidation
to integrate lessons learned from the past five years and strengthen partnerships in the region.
